LECTURES
Week 1
Tutorial
For this week, Mr Mike gave us a brief on the module information and the list of industry partners we'll be working with for this semester. We also learned what HyFlex learning was, and all of our lectures will be asynchronous.
After the brief, we moved on to creating groups, I managed to gather a group of 6 people, Me, Sheren, Mehran, Anjali, Edita and Valerie who joined us the following week.
We decided to go with Wyndham Garden Shazam Fraser's Hill, and I was appointed to become the group leader. A groupchat was created and I got to work on creating our shared Google Drive and a Google Calendar for us to manage our documents and align our schedules more efficiently.

Week 2
Artist or Designer?
Both Art and Design are different to differentiate because they both share the same elements such as colours and shapes. There is no literal definition to separate the two, however there is a difference in analytical thought. Yet, some works of design can be seen as art by some. A designed piece that solves a problem is equivalent to a piece of expression.
Art is subjective, following the saying beauty is in the eye of the beholder. It's an expression. Art can be interpreted in many different ways.
Design is objective, it's about creating something that solves a problem or makes something much better. It's a solution. Design aims for a clear, consistent message to be sent out. If it fails to communicate the correct message to the viewer, then the design has failed at doing it's job.
